Kudos to Okung, he held his own and dominated against one of the best in the league in Peppers

I am STOKED for next weeks game. Playing for sole possesion of first place against the Cards? Yes please! I am not thinking that we are a Superbowl team but I do think we can win the west and get a home playoff game. That stuff attracts free agents and if we do indeed win the west I think we could be looking at the coach of the year patrolling the side lines at Qwest ( I know, I know cart before the horse. It's just that I a little giddy right now).
Go Hawks!

Awesome win..............I think you'll see a huge dose of Lynch next week to pound the Cards into submission.

This is huge and gives the team and coaching staff a lot to build upon.

Exactly!...........everyone (me included) was worried about Peppers and he was pretty much a non factor, today.

the announcers during the game kept on focusing on Okung and the fact that peppers wasn't able to get past him once, they were impressed as is everyone else

A great win over a good team on the road.

Been a long time since I have been THIS PROUD of this team: Their effort, their passion, their ability to battle for four quarters.

Carroll has them competing. Pre-game on the radio they were talking to Carroll about getting a fast start to help the team on the road and all he said was "It's not how you start. It's how you finish." He has them buying in. I love it.

Had to go to work after 1st Quarter, so I watched the game on DVR last night: first impressions:
1. YAY!!
2. Russel Okung is already the best OL on the team, and obviously the best OT in the draft. Run and pass blocking were great. Not perfect, but no one is Walter Jones. Looking forward to him getting even better.
3. Beast Mode's stats were not impressive, but his running was. Okung and co will make Lynch better, who will in turn make Forsett more effective in his change of pace role.
4. Mike Williams ran better routes, and was rewarded with more targets. We were rewarded with a win.
5. Good job all around by the defense. Secondary needs more kudos for holding up long enough to let the blitzes work.

Nice team win. Love it!
