Since I'm Italian and Christmas Eve is much more important than Christmas Day, I'm going to have to watch the condensed version of the game via NFL Network On Demand tomorrow AM after we open presents.

That doesn't mean that I'm turning off the updates on my iPhone though...I'll just have to be a bit sneaky at the dinner table.

Hopefully the Bengals and Chargers can help out today and make the game on New Years Day effectively a playoff game...

Since I am not Italian I need to ask this question. What makes Christmas Eve more important than Christmas day?

For most Italian families, it's the day where as many family members as possible get together. In my family we always go to mass on Christmas Eve afternoon then go over somebody's house for a big meal (usually my mother in law) with lots of fish (the seafood salad with seven fishes especially).
Christmas Day is the more casual day & meal - we do a roast or a ham, but it's a lot less involved and stressful - that's probably since in my family, my wife and I always host Christmas Day at our house.
