Now if our receivers could just get some separation & our QB could make a freaking decision. Unless T-Jack picks up his play, the chants for Charlie next week are going to be deafening.

^this. I'm not sure if Whitehurst can just come in and make the offense that much better. Do we trade accuracy for mobility? They both have crazy arms and some kind of pocket presence. We need a run game, I forgot about the Saints playoff run in the preseason. They should use Portis in the wildcat, or something. They need to do something.

and Kam Chancellor?

But he's over 6 foot and that's what makes corners good. Certainly better than Jennings, Wilson and Babs right? Right?

or Matt Barkley. I wonder if Team Earn Everything was targeting Locker?

I had (chose) to sit in a damn room full of shithead Steeler fans (as the only Seahawk fan), and not only endure their infantile shit talk all game long, but also the fact that our fucking team couldn't even muster up a field goal in 60 minutes of football (and I use the term lightly). We are pathetic, I mean, I guess the Holmgren years kinda made us all forget to a degree how far from a good team we really are, but these past few years have relly drilled that point home again and again, ugh.

belated happy birthday. our bar is a Steeler bar, i watched the super bowl there by myself so i know what you're talking about.

Well it was an ugly game to say the least. I didn't think they'd win so I'm just glad they only gave up 24. Good news is that the offensive play calling was good and TJ did pretty well considering the circumstance.

I think this pretty much sums up the effort of our team ... on offense anyway ...

The sad numbers: 2-for-12 on 3rd downs. 164 total yards and only 47 yards rushing. You're right Sal this doesn't translate to good offensive play calling and how well TJ did ... TJ said it himself ... Jackson said after the game "We couldn't get a rhythm we couldn't put two third-down conversions back to back. That's all about rhythm."
Hello NFL; I don't believe we've been properly introduced ... We Are the Seattle Seahawks and We Are Here to Serve Notice

They were in so many 3rd & longs that it made it nearly impossible to convert on them. That's not all on TJ. They'd run it on 1st down, get nothing or lose a yard. 2nd down they'd try to get something, and end up getting TJ sacked. 3rd & forevers are extremely difficult to convert against the Steeler D. The fact that TJ completed 70% of his passes and had no turnovers is amazing. Not absolving him of any responsibility but its silly to think that if TJ wasn't the QB they'd be some stellar offense. Receivers aren't getting any separation down field, they are constantly blanketed. O line can't give TJ any time in the pocket so that he has time to got through his reads and throw any kind of pass except for quick short ones or dump offs. And the fact that the running game poses no threat what so ever doesn't help either.
