Unfortunately I had to bail on you guys at halftime. I just finished watching the game on Tivo.

All I can say is that it was about f-ing time.
As far as our D, isn't it amazing what they can do when our O doesn't have 3 & out after 3 & out? I checked the time of possession & it was relatively even, even though the O didn't exactly look tuned up. Not only did the D look pretty fresh toward the end of the game, they looked like a shark when it smells blood. I positively LOVE how the D is developing, & I think that we have a safety tandem that I really, really hope that we can hold onto for a long time to come. Those 2 are going to be special, in a good way.
The only time that Jackson looked somewhat consistently good to me was on the opening drive of the 2nd half. Lots of rolling out & moving the pocket, along with a quick, no-huddle tempo. It didn't allow him to think about things too much, & I think that helps him. One of the commentators said something like "it's almost like the routes have to be perfect for Jackson to feel comfortable enough to throw it". That was spot on IMO. He's still not starting material though.
